The Brinks employee was approached by the two suspects, one of whom was armed with a black handgun with an extended magazine. The Brinks driver attempted to fight off the suspects and, in the process, one of the suspects took the Brinks driver’s duty firearm. The driver was subsequently shot in his side and, after falling to the ground, the suspects kicked him in the head. The suspects fled in a 2022 Chevy Malibu with a bag of money from the Brinks driver. The vehicle was left in West Philadelphia, where it was recovered by the FBI.
