Terms of Use
Last updated September 9, 2026.
By using CellHive — this website or the CellHive Android app — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What CellHive is
CellHive collects publicly available jail roster information from Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wisconsin county jails and presents it in one place. CellHive is a third-party service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any county sheriff's office, court, or government agency.
Accuracy
Roster data changes frequently and is republished here as a snapshot. It may lag behind, omit, or differ from the county's official records. Accuracy is not guaranteed. Always verify details with the county directly before relying on them.
Court case and warrant information is supplied by RapidRoster and may lag behind the courts. A name match does not confirm that two records describe the same person.
Presumption of innocence
All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. A booking record is not evidence of a conviction. An arrest without disposition is not an indication of guilt.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use this site to screen or evaluate any person for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or a license, permit, or certification. CellHive is not a consumer reporting agency, produces no criminal history reports, and supplies nothing for any purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act;
- Use CellHive to harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone.
- Use the information here to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, or eligibility for any benefit. CellHive is not a consumer reporting agency and this data must not be used as a background check.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or resell the data, or attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls.
- Charge anyone a fee to have their record removed from CellHive. Removal is free — see below.
- Post comments that break the Comment Rules below.
Comments
Premium members can post short public comments on inmate profiles. By posting a comment you agree to the rules below. You must record your agreement once, before your first comment; posting is not available until you do.
You are responsible for what you post. Comments are your speech, not ours. You represent that anything you post is truthful and lawful, and you are solely responsible — including legally responsible — for it. You grant CellHive a perpetual, worldwide right to display, edit, and remove your comments.
Every comment is about a real person who is presumed innocent. Do not post:
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation aimed at the inmate, victims, witnesses, or anyone's family;
- Anything that could intimidate or tamper with a witness — this is a crime, and we will cooperate with law enforcement;
- Statements of guilt presented as fact, or false statements about any person;
- Personal information: home addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, family members' names, or anything about a minor;
- Messages intended to reach someone you are prohibited from contacting under a no-contact or protective order;
- Anything that solicits or coordinates illegal activity;
- Obscene or sexual content, hate speech, impersonation of any person, spam, links, or advertising (including bail bond or legal services).
Moderation. Every comment is reviewed before it appears. We may reject or remove any comment at any time, at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation, and we have no obligation to publish anything. Approving a comment is not an endorsement of it and does not make us its author.
Comments are public — permanently. Approved comments appear publicly attached to a person's booking record. Even after deletion, copies may persist in caches, archives, or screenshots. Comments and the account information of who posted them may be disclosed to law enforcement in response to legal process.
Enforcement. We may remove comments and ban accounts from commenting — including premium accounts, without refund — for breaking these rules.
Removal requests. If a comment about you or a family member is false, harassing, or otherwise breaks these rules, email Admin@CellHive.co or use the removal request form. Review is free and every request is read by an administrator.
Age. You must be at least 18 to post comments.
Indemnity. If someone brings a claim against CellHive because of a comment you posted, you agree to indemnify us — to cover our costs and any damages — arising from that claim.
Removal requests
If a record has been expunged or sealed, or you believe it should be removed for another reason, submit an Expungement / Removal Request. Removal is always free and an administrator reviews every request. We never charge to remove a record, and we never ask anyone else to. Booking photographs are removed within 10 days of a written request, free of charge (Fla. Stat. § 901.43). Juvenile records are never indexed. Expunged records are deleted, photograph and all, within 10 business days of a notice to delete (N.C.G.S. § 15A-152), and the same applies everywhere we operate.
Accounts
Registration is free and enables alerts for inmates you follow. Premium accounts additionally unlock the all-county released archive, global search, and the future-inmate watch list. Premium can be purchased on the site as a one-time pass or an auto-renewing subscription (see the Premium page for current pricing; subscription cancels take effect per the terms shown at purchase), and may also be granted by the site administrator. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.
The Android app
The CellHive Android app is a paid, one-time purchase distributed through Google Play. It contains no advertising, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. Purchases and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own terms.
Disclaimer and liability
CellHive is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the information published here.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
