The FBI's Billings Field Office in Montana is seeking information from the public regarding the theft of firefighting equipment. On August 8, 2026, an unknown individual or a group of unknown individuals broke into the Heart Butte Fire Department on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Montana and stole approximately $60,000 of firefighting equipment and supplies.
